It's rare to see a remake of a film within 5 yrs, but the reboot does prove to be more than just an unnecessary investment. The story-line is far more refined and closer in accuracy to the comics, while the CG has improved significantly. The pivotal fight scene is worth watching with a competent adversary, not just a crazy Nick Nolte. Overall, the film does its job of portraying a not-so-easy character from comics while it's still no "Iron Man." But props to the little 'nod' at the end--a great segue to what is to come.
