The second time into Narnia takes on a much darker tone compared to the first--"Harry Potter" meets "LOTR." With tons of action sequences, special effects and violence, the film is more suitable for adults than children . Nonetheless, it is engaging from the start, making the fantasy world tangible. It's evident in the acting that the kid actors have greatly matured since the first film, taking away any annoyances perceived earlier. The only letdown was the closing song that seemed out of place compared to the beautiful score by Harry Gregson-Williams. Regardless, the film boasts impressive sound editing and art direction.
