A long overdue review: after all the melancholy-themed Oscar films, it's refreshing to see an action movie that doesn't pretend to be anything other than what it is: kick-ass. There are car chases, kidnappings, thugs, drugs, merciless killings and one super angry guy defying all forms of foreign policy to get what he wants. It's a highly implausible storyline that doesn't really matter by the time the credits roll. Bottom-line: Liam Neeson shows everyone how it's done.
