Despite the negative reviews this has been gaining, I found the story to be quite touching in the end. The film is extremely slow-paced for the majority of the film but redeems itself in the last 20 minutes. It questions life and death and the consequences that follow. There are strong performances by both Will Smith and Rosario Dawson, well worth award recognition although the competition will be tough this year. Overall, a good film that will leave the empathetic in tears.
