While the premise of dropping actors into a real-life war scenario is amusing, at times, the humor seemed discomforting. The jokes about those who have intellectual disabilities were a bit tough to swallow in comparison with war casualties. On a lighter note though, Downey's performance as a method actor was uncanny and really brought his character to a new level. Even Tom Cruise did his part of being the guy you love to hate. While this isn't one of Stiller's best work, it still provides the laughs you expect from him and a great supporting cast.
